Wanted to let you know about the quality service I received during a recent repair. The repair tech repaired my bag as requested and even went the extra mile and replaced the wheels to ensure the bag works as new. After 3.5 yrs this is the first service my bag needed. This morning, while it was raining cats & dogs, I dropped into your Hauppauge location while on a business trip to Long Island. I was early and the front desk was not opened yet. Still, a young man, wet like myself offered to help me. He got the repair manager and I told him my luggage needed a new corner guard and my computer bag zipper was broken. But, I needed both of them this afternoon. He stated to come back after 1pm.
Returned this afternoon, to my surprise, the luggage had the following replaced:

Many years ago I bought a Briggs & Riley briefcase because I travel a lot and I needed a solid performing case. So I remembered when I bought, it the salesman said if it breaks Briggs and Riley will fix it. Many years later, I sent it in for repair, the front had small holes through the fabric ,the zipper trashed by the airlines, the wheels worn from many miles and the up and down mechanism need coaxing to go up and down. BUT I loved that case. Not only did you fix it, you decided to replace the entire case with a new one. Oh my goodness! THANK YOU. I LOVE my briefcase which is why I wanted to get it fixed in the first place. Now I am just stunned by your corporate culture and generosity that you would do this. WOW! Needless to say I have an emotional bond with my case as it travels everywhere with me.
Now there’s more...as an added bonus--- it seems I missed some pictures of my girls when I cleaned out the case (probably tucked safely away in one of the pockets) when they were younger. Not only did I get my new case but as I explored the new case, and there tucked away in one of the pockets were the pictures of my girls I had left in the old case. Now you folks are unbelievable. I compared both when I decided I wanted to stop pulling out laptops to go through security. Tumi has not updated their bags and the pocket design is woefully out of date. I own one Briggs & Riley bag. I chose it over four years ago because the good folks at Innovation Luggage in Harsdale, NY said it was the best as was your lifetime warranty. I use it daily and I beat the heck out of it. A couple of weeks ago one of the wheels fell off. In addition to that problem a few other parts of it were in need of minor repair. I brought it back to Innovation Luggage late in the afternoon of Tuesday 8/11/09. I was told not to expect it back for 6-8 weeks. I received it yesterday, Tuesday, 8/18/09. I was without it for only one week and it is practically as good as new.
I don't write fan mail. I don't have time for it and I don't believe in it. But you people are the best and I'm very grateful to you for making a superior product and giving such excellent service. I will never purchase anything else and I will tell everyone who asks me that they should only get Briggs & Riley. Thank you to the person who repaired my bag, and thank you Briggs & Riley.

The rolling garment bag I purchased 10 years ago just came back from repair and you did a great job. Things not even on my list were repaired and the bag even smells better! I had a bunch of friends over when the UPS guy delivered the bag and I pulled it out of the box immediately just to show them and tell them the story. I have a computer bag in for repair now too, and several others from you that have never needed to be repaired. My experience with this first bag (the one that gets the heaviest use and worst treatment ... the only one that gets checked with airlines, has been so good I don't even consider other brands.
I actually regularly tell people about the warranty and my experience with the product and your customer service and every time I do - it makes me feel like I'm a pretty damn smart guy for making such a good decision in that luggage store ten years ago. Funny thing; your bag actually making me feel better about myself. When I bought my Briggs expandable 22' suitcase 10.5 years ago I thought that the lifetime guarantee was a scam, but after 2 million miles on flights the past 10 years; broken handles, ripped corners and lining, broken zippers, etc, Briggs repaired the case no questions asked. The bag is now better than new, as they put on a new handle, with the release button on the handle rather than on the base of the bag which always was a pain to manage. And I got the bag back in less than 2 weeks, delivered to my front door. While the bag is still rather heavy, it is functional, durable and I look forward to putting more miles on it in the future. My friends have gone through their more-expensive Tumi's and Hartmann and onto others, while my Briggs keeps on rolling!!!

I was driving from San Antonio, TX to Dallas, TX, and had 2 pieces of your product in the bed of a rental car. I am not one of those that writes to companies. But, I have to do it now.
This morning I brought in my B&R Baseline bag for the zipper pull to be reattached. Now, this bag is 2-1/2 yrs old and has seen some 250,000 miles of air travel during this time. It was gift from my kids for Father's Day 2006. To me it just needed the zipper pull to be reattached. I got a call this afternoon to pick it up. When I got back to the hotel and looked at the card, I was shocked at the work that was done on it, beside the zipper pull. Ernesto did the following work:

- corner piping repair
- handle system replaced

- wheel mold
This is the second time this bag has been in for a quick repair. The first time it was to have expansions replaced. One other time a wheel broke at the airport. 1. On a recent visit to Half Moon Bay, I took my B&R suitcase to your repair facility to have the zipper replaced. The people there were extrordinarily helpful. Not only was the zipper repaired on a rush basis so that I could get the case in time to use it for my return home, but they found & fixed 6 other defects. WOW -- super service.
2. B&R suitcases are the best luggage investment one can make. Since purchasing our three bags in 1996, we have taken 16 international trips -- including Egypt, Europe 11 times, Morocco, Mexico, Russia & Indochina. Some pretty 'rough handling' locations. In addition to the international trips, we have taken at least 2 domestic trips each year. With just a few repairs, the bags are still in excellent condition.

Until recently, I had never heard of Briggs & Riley and might have continued in this state except by chance. My wife an I had been discussing replacing our single, large suitcase with a pair of carry-on size bags. She had done some research but the only thing that I knew was that it should be made of nylon rather than polyester -- and this let out the inexpensive bags I was hoping we could get away with.
On Saturday, we were at the local mall for purposes other than shopping for luggage. We passed by a 'Point A' store and I suggested that we spend a second looking at the good stuff so that we had a basis for comparison. I had no intention of buying anything.
The sales person was very knowledgeable and, though the store sold a range of brands, he seemed to light up when he talked about Briggs & Riley. I soon began to see why. The features were smart and the lifetime guarantee was intriguing -- especially when I read your tag describing 'Reality Engineering'.
This makes more sense than anything I've encountered in recent years and it made me wonder why more manufacturers don't embrace this philosophy. It seems rather, that the trend is to make things that 'look' like the real thing but which have been gutted of value by the need to constantly reduce manufacturing costs. What we end up with is an endless stream of low-cost knockoffs that work for a time then end up in the landfill.
So bravo, Briggs & Riley. You can be sure that I'll be bending people's ears about your product and the idea that lies beneath it.

I've had the expandable 28' inch large rolling suitcase now, and have gone to multiple long trips with it. It is the best piece of luggage i've ever owned, and so worth the price I paid for it. It looks great still, and clothes just don't come out crumpled unlike the other lower cost luggage i used to own, of which I've had to replace every few years due to not being able to take the brunt of travel.
The luggage rolls great, is very sturdy, and on top of all that, I have piece of mind knowing there's a company standing behind this product for its lifetime. Thinking of buying another one for my wife to use!

I would like to commend you on the exceptional products you provide, and seemingly manufacture for persons just like me. My job requires me to travel between several different states at least three weeks out of the month. As I conquer the air my 21' expandable and wheeled garment bag are always in tow. I don't have to tell you about the beating these bags take week in and week out. However, they sustain the rigors of airline travel with ease. I am so pleased with your line that I now proudly own five Briggs & Riley bags, several accessories, and have my eye on a sixth bag. I've also influenced my girlfriend into purchasing two bags as well. Needless to say she loves hers as much as I love mine.

My son was riding his motorcycle home from work when his computer fell out of his backpack and tumbled down the road. He didn't discover his loss until he got home when he noticed that his backpack was lighter than it should have been.
Fortunately, a work mate (whom he had just passed) saw the computer eject from his backpack. He retrieved the computer, opened the case and was astonished to find that the computer still functioned.

We are being stopped left and right as we travel because both my husband and I have your 22 inch roll-on cases. I also have the rolling tote with the twist attachment device and my husband has the rolling computer bag with the same attachment. Seriously, they are wonderful and people do stop us regularly.

I have had my XXX computer bag for about 13 years. It was either the first model they offered or at least one of the earliest. I bought it after my previous one was stolen in the Hong Kong Train Station (another story). The bag came with a lifetime warranty (I understand it is now 5 years). Unfortunately, after many years of hard use (over 50 trips to China...and not just Beijing and Shanghai -- many other trips), I had to send it back due to several bad zippers and a couple of other things.
Much to my chagrin, XXX came back to me and said they wanted $109 to fix it and no guarantees. The suggestion was that it isn't worth it and I should buy a new one. I have sent other pieces of luggage back to TUMI and have never encountered this.
On another note, I had an equally old Briggs and Riley piece of luggage that had almost as many trips that required repair. I took it to the local repair place and was told the repairs needed were too extensive for them to do it and it would have to go back to the factory. I said OK and paid a nominal fee for the shipping.
I just got it back and it is in great condition. The bill? $0. I must say I have been very impressed with [Briggs & Riley]. In my view standing behind the warranty in addition to a lower price swings the deal for me. In the future I will stick to Briggs & Riley.

I have been a happy Briggs & Riley customer for about a decade. I purchased one of your leather computer bags then, and it's been with me literally around the world and back again many times. I haven't been able to 'kill' it yet, but when I went in for my third strap today I fell in love with your new leather organized computer bag.
Your older model had a frame that just couldn't be beat and I always felt that my equipment would be safe in it. But I noticed that this new model has a lot more structural rigidity in the central frame region, than some of your more recent models, so I investigated it further. I fell in love with it and, after ten years of never being convinced that I'd find a compact bag that could be as good as my original, I was finally convinced. I love the pockets, the style - nice to have the 'D' rings on the side of the bag, much less likely to snag - and all of the dozens of little details that have been so well thought through.
I was a little unsure about some of your products there for a while, but this is an admirable bag that I will use to endorse your products wherever I go. It's the best!

In October 2006, we took a cruise to the Caribbean departing from New York city. We flew into Laguardia and took a taxi to our hotel in Brooklyn. The taxi driver loaded our new Briggs and Riley luggage into the taxi minivan. We were on the expressway when the rear door flew open and one of our suitcases went flying out -- onto a four lane highway with heavy traffic. The cars were all honking and swerving around the suitcase. The taxi driver ran to get the suitcase. I am happy to report that the suitcase was not damaged in any way -- it looks as good as new.

I travel too much and that seems to qualify me as a luggage expert in the eyes of most of my friends and family.
I'm asked for a luggage recommendation my answer is swift and crisp, 'Briggs and Riley.' Well that's the plan, but inevitably I'll go on and on about the quality and durability of my B&R gear and of course the amazing warranty. By the time I'm done, my audience is expecting me to whip out a catalogue and start taking orders.
I don't consider myself an odd person and yet I must admit that even I find this odd behavior.
It was therefore a great relief last week when a complete stranger in Dallas airport decided that he would approach me to announce his great affection for his B&R gear. In his mind we clearly had a bond, a brotherhood based on travel ware!
I must confess to a touch of luggage envy at his newer models but most importantly, I now know I'm not alone in my eccentricity.

I just bought your 19 inch carry-on and 24 inch expandable upright cases on the recommendation of a friend, Stephen Mueller, who has had his for ten years. After an exhaustive search, I was able to purchase one of your bags. I can't give you the model number, but it holds a 17' laptop. What a great bag!! I can't think of ANYTHING I would change about it!! I am a land surveyor and tend to be ROUGH on my soft equipment, but I am confident that this bag will hold up. The pocket arrangement is perfect. I love your transcend line because it is so light yet still really durable. I think it is perfect for women business travelers because it is so easy to move around and hoist up into the airline bins. Most luggage seems to be designed for men and is too heavy. That is why although alot of my male peers travel with Tumi, I won't use it because their regular line is too heavy and their light 21 inch just doesn't hold as much as the transcend because of the external handle. I just wish that that the transcend line came in more 'business' type colors. Would you consider adding a charcoal grey?
Also the transcend backpack is the best designed travel backpack around. Three of the women in my office have it and we all love it for trips to Europe. While the colors make it too casual to carry to a business meeting it is excellent for carrying everything you want to bring on a long plane flight (the headphone opening is a great touch) and then you can always remove the laptop case and put it in a large purse to attend a meeting. We also all like it because it isn't as bulky as most computer backbacks so it fits a woman's frame better and prevents the shoulder aches that come from carrying a tote. Anyway my only comment is that it would be nice if there were more colors to choose from.

They were both with me Friday as I waited at the bus stop in front of the Barnes and Noble in Santa Clarita. It was 5:30, and I stood behind the billboarded-back wall in what little shade there was. My cases sat where the bus would stop, just to the side of another plastic wall. Although the bus was not yet due, I uncharacteristically was watching the traffic instead of reading, pacing, or meditating. With a shock, I realized one of the vehicles turning left, wasn't. A blue SUV headed straight for me, fast. I turned to run, but only got two strides before hearing the stop shatter behind me. Falling, I looked back--and saw my computer briefcase airborne! Launched by the toppling of its wall, the case landed on its face and skidded several more feet-until halted by a street tree.
The driver, a middle-aged woman with no insurance, discovered her power steering hose had ruptured, causing her loss of control. After determining neither of us were injured, I approached the shelter. A metal beam hung where I had been standing: in the midst of the wreckage, my cabin bag sat serene.
Now for the moment of dread. Upending the computer case, I pulled forth my three-month-old laptop and powered up, then checked out the other contents of my case, all undamaged in any way. Except for minor scuffing, no damage to the briefcase at all. On weekends, I work Gene's Luggage, and have often heard of the abuse your cases can withstand, but I never expected to be telling one of my own.

I have a good news - bad news story to relate. Today I was returning from a business trip in Las Vegas to Washington Dulles, and as I got on an escalator at Las Vegas airport, about 15 feet into the ascent an elderly woman lost her balance and fell backwards. I was directly behind her and attempted to catch her or cushion her fall, but her momentum (and mass) sent me falling backwards as well. It was all over in a second, and the airport staff alertly turned off the escalator to avoid a huge pileup, but I found that I had fallen onto my Briggs and Riley carry-on which was positioned right behind me, and the extended carry arm had cushioned my fall, preventing me from striking my back on the sharp metal edge of the escalator step. The suitcase handle was badly bent by the weight of my 195 lb, 6'3' old body but cushioned my fall, and I am convinced saved me from serious injury. I had back surgery four years ago, but I walked away from this one.
I have two of your large expandables, a briefcase and a smaller carry-on, all Briggs and Riley. I will be sending the bag in for repair! Thanks, literally, for the support!

Just want to send Kudos to Chuck Scheper. In a world where once a retailer makes a sale, the consumer is typically lost on post sales coverage (i.e., warranty etc...). I called the B & R line for warranty repair on my 8 year old bag and a good thing happened...Chuck called me back within a half hour and gave me the information I needed to get my bag repaired...UNBELIEVEABLE. The only other retailer I know that has half as decent post sales support is Nordstrom and B & R surpassed their service easily, thanks to Chuck!
Keep it up...you give consumers like me confidence that companies do, in fact, stand behind their warranties.

I recently sent my 8 year old B-R 22' rolling carry-on in for repairs. You not only honored your warranty, you did a true overhaul on the old friend and replaced or repaired several things that I did not even request !! I own 7 pieces of B-R ranging from a 26'expandable rolling suitcase to three shaving kits! My wife has 3!! I recently bought your new transcend 21 bag. It is great but the reason I like it is the outside pocket in back by the handle. It is a great place to store your receipts. I always had a problem keeping the receipts organized. Here you check out of the hotel put it right in, same with the rent a car. Great idea. I travel over 25 times a year.

We are so pleased with the quality of Briggs and Riley bags. No one can say these bags aren’t rugged after this story: We were flying from Boston down to the Bahamas to return to our sail boat. We purchased some heavy duty equipment including a 66 lb. anchor and 100 feet of 3/8 chain for it (the chain itself weighed about 100 lbs). A package that heavy would be outrageously expensive to ship and take forever to arrive so we decided to bring it in our trusty Briggs and Riley (U21NX Olive) carry on. It fit perfectly, rolled quite well and we were able to move through the airport fairly easily –thanks to the heavy duty wheels and handle system.
Our first hiccup with the chain occurred at security when it required two of us to lift the bag on the conveyor belt. (That was security’s first signal of something strange.) On the outside, the bag looked great so no one took notice of us. Once the bag passed through the x-ray machine, the security person’s face was perplexed, “What the heck do you have in that bag?” (The chain sent off some signals) After some explaining they said that we could not bring the bag on the plane but an airline attendant would take it. We were relieved not to have to pull the 150 lbs. around but concerned for whoever else had to move the beast! Well to make a long story short, after two taxi rides, two flights, one ferry ride and many annoyed baggage handlers surprised by the weight, the bag arrived in great condition – wheels still rolling, handle did not bend, and the case itself held up beautifully. I will not buy any other bag now and in fact just purchase a set of luggage for all my business and person travel. We are sold! Keep up the great quality!

I'm a frequent international business traveler for a hi-tech company in the silicon valley. I have, for the past 2 years, used a Tumi expandable laptop bag for travel and have, for the most part, enjoyed it. One exception to that was when a seam tore and I had to get the bag repaired. Other than that, I thought the Tumi bag was the best that money could buy.
However, I recently got a B&R overnight tote as a gift and, to my surprise, it beats my Tumi bag in every category! I spent over $300 for my Tumi bag, and it's fabric, zippers, lining, and handles are all inferior in quality to your luggage. I was shocked to learn that I could buy a laptop case that is very similar in features to the Tumi bag I currently own for about $150 less.
I have been so impressed with the quality of my B&R overnight tote, that I'm close to scrapping my very expensive Tumi bag as well as my TravelPro wheeled suitor (which has been very poor) in favor of B&R bags. If only there were a way to trade in my overpriced, underwhelming luggage to recoup some of my poor investment!
It is rare to find a product as well made and well-designed as your luggage. I have and will continue to recommend your products to anyone I know looking for new travel gear. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Ankor Wat In Cambodia, Pyramids of Egypt, Turkey, China, and Russia. Your luggage has never once provided us with one ounce of trouble! When the airlines have done some damage, you guys fixed the problem, period! no issues, and at no charge! I want you to know how impressed I am with my three suit garment bag. I bought it late last year to use on a consulting contract in the middle east. It got lost by my hotel for months. Finally it arrived the other day. I closed my eyes as I took the bag out of the box in which they stuffed it. Down to the cleaners, I thought. I was in shock! I purchased my Briggs & Riley bag almost nine years ago. When asked about the warranty, the sales person said that it was a 'LIFE TIME WARRANTY', I made the comment back, I'm sure, it's probably worthless as the paper it's written on. Well I have to tell you that THE BAG has been with me now for almost nine years. After several repairs it still has been a wonderful bag. Just recently before the Christmas holidays I had to take it in to Rynn's Luggage in Carrollton, Texas for repair. I talked with Steve Rynn the owner. I told him that I had been traveling for almost nine years with the same bag and that it had approximately 3 Million Miles on it and growing. He couldn't believe that THE BAG had so many miles on it. One of the corners had completely been ripped off (but still attached) and America West had ripped the back spine almost off, the reason for the visit to get it fixed. I just wanted to let you know that I believe in your product, my bag has been a great bag, and you have stood up to your promise that you would take care of it for a lifetime.

Just returned from a 3 day trip with my new BRW20 and this is the first message I wanted to send. It's better than advertised. Better quality, better designed, and seems even bigger than it is. The most important feature is that real thought was given in the product design. Everything was there, convenient and with adequate space that,

We just bought something like our 9th or 10th Briggs and Riley bag. We have everything from toiletry cases to the extra large pullman. My husband and I each have a cabin bag. He travels a lot more than I do, but we had them side by side the other day and couldn't tell the difference. His still looks brand new. They are fabulous. Great organizers, so well designed! Chuck Scheper at your Half Moon Bay location is terrific! I wanted luggage and I was lost as to which pieces to get. From Chuck's succinct, articulate critiques, all supported by his own experience, I was able to select with confidence four Briggs &Riley pieces. Then with a list of the stores that he suggested, I was able to make a most satisfactory order. Thank you for your recent telephone call to check on the repair of a bag. The zipper pull was replaced in Sacramento and was very satisfactory! Thank you. However, I want to tell you the circumstances that necessitated the repair. The zipper pull was cut in Calgary, we assume because the bag was locked. They could have cut the lock, but instead cut the actual ring on the zipper pull. No note was placed inside the bag to indicate it had been open/inspected.
I e-mailed the Calgary airport, Air Canada/United and the TSA ... really to no avail. I believe the damage was just plain 'mean-spirited.' Thanks for your wonderful luggage. Each time we need a new piece of luggage, we head to Longshores in Sacramento.

I'd like to take a moment to praise you on the design of my new computer bag. I had the opportunity to purchase the LBW8 from an associate who had no need for it. I have owned many computer bags, and have traveled extensively, but this is my first Briggs & Riley. This is ABSOLUTELY the nicest bag I have ever owned. I cannot say enough about it. My wife and I are million mile plus travelers and for the past 5 years or so, we have relied entirely on Briggs and Riley travel bags. Most recently, United Airlines did a fine job not only destroying my B & R bag, but losing much of the contents in the process. In the past, we have tried the local B & R warranty repair shops with mixed results - the work is fine, but they are painfully slow. Given the nature of the most recent situation, I decided to call B & R directly and look into the possibility of the repair at your factory. I was fortunate to have Chuck Scheper handle my request and I have to tell you that he has been a pleasure to work with. Chuck clearly understands the demands placed on frequent travelers and the importance of a solid and reliable piece of luggage. While I'm still fighting with United over the claim and may be for some time to come, getting my bag repaired thanks to Chuck has been amazingly painless. I can assure you that in the future when my wife and I are in the market for any type of luggage, Briggs and Riley will get our business. I can speak from personal experience that other luggage manufacturers may be long on the bells and whistles, but noticeably absent when it comes to employees like Chuck.

Often time all we ever do is complain about poor service, but we never take the time to complement someone when they go above and beyond the call of duty. I just returned home from one trip this afternoon and I am off tomorrow morning at 4:45 AM for another trip, and I wanted you to know this so you know how impressed I was that I took time out of my nonexistent evening (instead of packing and seeing my wife) to write and complement you on the ABSOLUTELY SUPERIOR SERVICE CHUCK RENDERED TO ME TODAY. He was patient (and that takes a lot when dealing with me), courteous and extremely responsive (he even went to get a bag I was interested in to better describe it to me).
I have loved my Briggs & Riley gigantic garment bag which has seen the far reaches of the world (Shanghai, Peking, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Europe, South Africa, Brazil) and I would not trade this bag for anything (well... maybe for a Porsche 911 Targa). It has survived the torture of Northwest Airlines for many many years and it is still going strong. So not only are your luggage bags superior, so is your help ... and finding help in today's market place is no small task. Quality merchandize and superior customer service is what brings customers back time and time again.
My complements to you and my thanks to Chuck. This is why I am buying another Briggs & Riley bag and will probably always look to Briggs & Riley first for any luggage needs that I have.

I have owned your U-24X 24' expandable vertical case for 4 years. I must say it has been the best piece of luggage I have ever owned. On returning from a recent trip, I noticed a section of the zipper was beginning to tear out. I dropped the bag off at Mark's Luggage Repair in Phoenix Arizona, and 10 working days later I was back in business. I truly appreciate your lifetime warranty and will purchase only Briggs and Riley in the future.

I simply LOVE my Briggs & Riley Burgundy bags!!! I travel weekly for business and the burgundy color is so easy to identify from afar and almost guarantees no mix-ups in baggage claim. I have 4 pieces 2 - 26 in., 1 - 21 in., and 1 carryon bag in burgundy and 1 - business overnight case + computer case in black. As long as you have the same warranty in place, I will NEVER buy another piece of luggage that is not Briggs and Riley again! I am telling all my friends and family about your products and reputable warranty.
I am the owner of a company in the travel industry and spend a lot of time traveling. I bought my first Briggs & Riley over a year ago and couldn't be happier. I always over-pack (you can never have too much right?) and my U-76 Deluxe Garment Bag has enough space for a week long trip with TWO changes daily, including golf shoes, workout shoes and dress shoes, especially if you use heavy duty compression bags. On a recent trip the wheel was knocked off my bag and it was replaced quickly with no questions asked. This was worth the price of the bag alone because I don't have to purchase a new bag. I recently purchased a BRW20 Upright Business Traveler for both 1-2 night trips and to pack my toilet kit and a spare set of clothes for longer trips where my Garment Bag might not arrive at the same time I do. The coolest feature allows the computer bag to slip over the handle providing more room inside the bag. Although Briggs & Riley products cost more the value is in the design, sturdy manufacture (best zippers i've ever seen) and unconditional warranty. No one in my family will ever use any other luggage and I recommend it to my friends and colleagues. Keep up the good work!

It is rare that I was appreciative about a purchase, but today, at a Bon Voyage outlet in PIT, I bought a BRW 20, 20' Business Traveler, it is absolutely, exactly, what I was looking for. Exceptionally engineered, and very well built, it has all of the features one needs for a quick trip into the modern world. Thank you for making this outstanding piece of goods! I couldn't wait to unload my stuff from two old-fashioned cases, both of which I gave away right there in the terminal, and load it all, including my lap top, into my new B&R problem solver. I've been meaning to write now for some time to thank you for your great customer service and standing behind your warranty. I work for a major airline and had used my bag for over five years of hard use when the handle broke. I took the bag to your local representative here in Seattle who kindly informed me that the bag would have to go back to the factory and that they would provide me a loaner. They then asked if I was having any other trouble with the bag and I mentioned that the zippers were sticking a bit. Anyway, to make a long story short, when I got the bag back I was astounded. It looked brand new. The zippers had been replaced and of course, the handle worked perfectly. I even received comments from fellow employees about my 'new' bag. I currently own two Briggs and Riley bags and I plan to purchase two others. I do a great deal of international travel and my luggage is truly put to the test in the deserts and cities of the world. I have owned and own luggage from several manufactures from around the world, but since I purchased my first Briggs and Riley bag I only buy one brand. I decided there is no reason to buy any other luggage after purchasing yours. The quality and craftsmanship is totally unparalleled in the industry and the warranty truly sets you above all of the competition. Why keep upgrading my luggage ever year or so, when after I buy just one of your bags, I will never need to buy one to replace it. I feel comfortable in putting my Briggs and Riley bags to the test. I have had other bags just fall apart on me over time, but yours are practically indestructible. The warranty also gives me true peace of mind that if anything ever does break, it will be professionally fixed free of charge. My Briggs and Riley bags have been on air craft carriers, military cargo planes and hospitable locations around the globe. I get complements on my luggage wherever I go and my luggage still looks new after all of the use and abuse it has withstood. I am truly impressed with your luggage and your company. I purchased a Briggs & Riley bag over three years ago. I have used this bag on over 300 flights on many different major carriers. This is the one item other than my laptop that goes pretty much everywhere I go. As time went on my bag started to show some wear and tear. The last piece was that my carrying handle was snapped off by the airline. Even though I had a Briggs & Riley Bag, I naturally wanted the airline to fix the damage that they caused. When I went to go file a complaint with the carrier, they told me that damage to handles were not covered. I then had to give up the one piece of luggage that has been with me for the past three years up for repair. I could not have asked for an easier more hassle-free way to get my bag repaired. Not only did you repair the items that I pointed out, but you also spotted and conducted more repairs to my bag.
I can't say enough about both the quality of your bags as well as your customer service when I needed to have repairs done. Those are always two measures that I use when I deal with purchasing products/services. How good is the product and how well does the company handle any issues that my come up.

I'm a computer case junkie...I must have a dozen or more in my collection of useful, but not ideal bags. Your @Work collection has convinced me to throw out the rest. I am 17 and over the summer I worked at a luggage store as a sales associate. I can easily say that I recommended and sold Briggs much more than any other brand in the store. This is simply the best bag out there, no questions asked. One of my main selling points to our customers was that they could spend less and buy a cheaper bag but that they would be back when their bag was damaged by the airlines and that there would be nothing that they could do about it. I then told them that if they spent a little more for a Briggs that they would be saving more money in the long run. I even convinced my family to buy Briggs from now on. Way to keep up the good work!

Just picked up a BRW12 at Landmark Luggage in Milwaukee, WI. They only had one and didn't have the 11 or the 13, it's a great product just like all of your products, (my 14th B&R case) I would have picked up one or two more if they had them, time to light a fire under your salespeople, you have a GREAT case there. A friend said I pay too much for luggage...... I travel about 90% of the time and will only travel now with your bags. They are incredible! The carry on expandable has no competition. I bought a cheap case to go to Europe Upon return I hear my name on the airport intercom paging me to the ticket counter. I get there and see my underwear sticking out of my ripped luggage. So I decided I'd get better stuff and bought Eddy Bauer luggage. First trip bag ripped. Then I figure, Samsonite has been around a long time so I'll try that. Well at least the Samsonite lasted two trips before ripping in two places. After suitcase number one, My husband bought a Briggs & Riley but I couldn't bring myself to pay the big bucks. I LOVE your luggage...I will buy nothing else. The value that I get for the price that I pay is tremendous. These bags last for years and years. If you have to use the repair policy for worn zippers or handles, this is great too. Love the durable material and handles... WAY BETTER THAN THE OVERPRICED ---- LUGGAGE.
