Briggs & Riley Adds Seven New Pieces, Gold Color To transcend Collection

Hauppauge, N.Y. – Briggs & Riley Travelware announces the addition of seven new styles and an exciting gold color, Desert, to its dynamic transcend® Collection.  The transcend Collection is focused on leisure travelers who lead active lives.  New pieces in the collection include a rolling garment bag, messenger bag, slim computer brief, wine sling, touring bag, shopping tote and computer backpack. All reflect the energetic, informal transcend Collection attitude.  The new Desert color (available in selected styles) complements the metallic and neutral tones that will be popular this spring.

Rolling Garment Bag #TD-U373 ($399) – Includes a double flap design for softer packing and features individual shoe pockets.  Main compartment features a Wally Hook to securely hang one or two garments.  Foam-centered garment panels gently blanket clothes to minimize wrinkling.  Perfect for a two to three day trip.  

Messenger Bag #TD-334 ($129) – Casual day bag, made of soft-yet-rugged Tuff-Lite™ fabric, comfortably carries it all and keeps it organized.  Features front flap secured by two buckle clips, front pocket with headphone port, and organized pocket/holders in the front zippered pocket for efficient accessibility. Webbed shoulder strap with removable shoulder pad for easy cross-body or over-the-shoulder carrying.

Slim Computer Brief #TD-352 ($99) – Timeless styling with roomy main compartment.  Front zippered pocket organizes PDA, cell phone, cables/cords and more.  Slip pocket provides ideal ticket storage.  Fleece-lined interior protects electronics, fits most 15.4” screen laptops.   Includes shoulder strap with removable shoulder pad.

Wine Sling #TD-342 ($89) – Designed to store wine for special outings, picnics, etc.  Zip-in removable neoprene wine holder stores two full size bottles with convenient built in handle.  The wine sling Includes removable, adjustable sling back with flexible rotation device for comfortable carrying.  The sling back strap comes with webbing loop for cell phone clips and a mesh pocket for additional smaller items.

Touring Bag #TD-346 ($79) – Large enough to hold wallet, sunglasses, camera, maps and paperback.  Small enough to be comfortably carried.  Flat front zippered pocket safely stores travel documents.  Includes headphone grommet and adjustable messenger-style shoulder strap with removable shoulder pad.

Shopping Tote #TD-357 ($125) – Features leather shoulder straps and a flat front pocket to store travel documents.  The organizer section has fleece-lined pockets to store electronic accessories.  The slip-through back pocket easily secures this tote to an Upright®.

Large Computer Backpack #TD-332 ($159) – Roomy enough to store light clothes, personal sundries, MP3 player, and also safely pack a laptop.  Zip-in, removable neoprene computer sleeve with elastic Velcro flap closure provides extra protection. Computer sleeve fits most laptops with up to 17” screens. Velcro stabilizers protect computer from shifting. Includes padded, ergonomically contoured backpack straps with thumb rest loops for hands-free carrying.
