  • I probably should have written a review a long time ago, this bag has been to Europe and back several times and on many domestic flights throughout the US. I have been using it for just over two years and it really has been a great size, and easy to roll around. Most recently on a flight from Chicago to Tampa I received the bag with the missing wheel, I was surprised that it broke off but you never know what you will get with the airlines. Even with the rear wheel missing, my bag was still pretty easy to roll around. When I returned back home I mailed the bag back to Briggs & Riley for a repair, super easy to set up the return via the website. Between the time I mailed the bag out UPS and it's returned, it was exactly one week. Yes the bag is pricey, but you get what you pay for.

  • As a frequent traveler, I have had several rolling suitcases break on me. I don't just go from airport to hotel to airport- I have hauled this suitcase on a roadtrip thru wine country in France, across numerous liveaboard diving trips in Southeast Asia, up and down cobble streets and dirt paths. IT IS A WINNER. The most durable and also stylish suitcase I have ever had. I am recommending B&R to everyone I know who cares are value and quality.

  • I purchased this from a dealer and was told I was buying last year's model with a discontinued color. I was told it would hold a suit or 3 shirts. As I was in a hurry, I did not "test" out his claim and bought the suitcase. Unfortunately, this will NOT hold either a suit or 3 shirts. It is also not the item that is shown on the website. The "E-Z Hook Suiter" that is shown is apparently for a newer model. But the company uses the same model number. Since I traveled once with this before trying to use the suit holder feature, it is now "used," and the dealer will not take it back. The company refuses to acknowledge the fact that this was a poorly designed bag and refuses to exchange it. I am stuck with a suitcase that is totally unsuitable for a suit!! I will never buy from this company again. Their products might be durable, but they are not well designed...

  • We bought this 2 years ago knowing we were heading overseas and to a lifestyle with a lot of travel. It is our first B&R and we are both impressed with how light the bag is and how quickly we can move through airports and town with the spinner wheels. Based on our positive experience with it we are buying a second.

  • I left home intending to fill my new suitcase even though I was packed for two weeks before I left. I did manage to fill it to bursting, even using and needing every inch of the expander. The case is roomy and dependable, everything I have come to expect from Briggs & Riley. One tiny complaint: The external strap, which is attached to the case with a small plastic tab (I don't know exactly what it's called) inserted into a slot on the top of the case, disappeared in transit on the first day. I don't know whether someone took it, it came off or the fastener broke. No matter, I lost a piece of the case that I had paid for and may have used, given the chance.
