"The carry-on is not a 5 star. Let me explain why. First of all there is no side handle. Would have preferred this. Second, the inside is not as spacious as I would have preferred. Having had different carryons one tends to be picky. But I was able to figure out a way to pack my items in a way to make everything fit. This technique will not work when flying. Especially overseas. But I like the carryon enough and not return it."

Limits on capacity

"The space for files and electronics is difficult to open and close. As designed it limits capacity for international travel. When packed it’s then difficult to close the electronics and file section if there is a small laptop in it. I don’t see using it for international trips. i have another bag."

Nice carry-on

"I have multiple B&R items & love the quality. I bought the Torq international carry-on for its light weight. I already have the Baseline international carry-on, but at 10 lbs, it only leaves me with 5 lbs of items to pack due to airline weight restrictions on a certain Philippines based airline. So I started looking at lighter carry-on options under the B&R brand. The Torq one fit the the bill well, however when I received it the capacity was less than I anticipated. It really doesn’t hold much clothing, but in conjunction with my B&R large cargo backpack I think I will be ok. I carry a mirrorless camera & two lenses in the back pack also, so if the staff at Briggs & Riley reads this I hope they will consider a suggestion to make some type of removable extra padding accommodations for camera gear in their backpacks. Overall, I am happy with the Torq International Carry-on, but wanted to make people aware that its capacity is limited. Usage of a few vacuum type bags will help maximize your capacity."
