I just returned from 2

"I just returned from 2 weeks in Italy and I am thrilled with how my carry-on expandable spinner performed. It was rolled over the cobblestones streets of Venice and padova and then on through Naples airport and on a ferry to Ischia. I checked it coming and going as had expanded it to the max and had enough to fit in everything for a 2 week vaca. When I retrieved it at the end of my trip, it looked good as new. Very impressed. Quality will remain long after one has forgotten the price. Glad I spent the money as know it will last for many trips to come!"

Sturdy Hard Shell Required!

"My husband gifted me with a great suitcase a few years ago, unfortunately, it wasn’t up to task. I decided to spend more on a bag (the lifetime warranty is a plus) and chose Briggs & Riley. I love that the handle is exterior and adjusts to my height. Also, it expands with the interior adjustment system not exterior zipper so I know exactly how many toiletries, undies and daily clothes I can fit, which is a lot. It’s a beautiful suitcase, I love the matte color and hope it holds up to life on the road. If not, I’ll have to resort to a hard case Pelican!"

Disappointed

"The suitcase I received is not what I expected. I saw the Sympatico in an airport store and immediately fell in love with it? But the price was crazy high! I decided to wait until Black Friday to order it. When we received it, my husband wrapped it up for Christmas. Then I put it away until needed. While using it on a trip, I realized that the suitcase I received was NOT the same as the one I had seen in the airport store. The one I received was last year’s model, which isn’t a big deal EXCEPT that the mechanism to extend the suitcase is very different and difficult to use. I am not happy with the way the suitcase works, or really DOESN’T work well. When I contracted the company I was told that I had order Sympatico 2. 1 rather than the 2. 2. What the heck!! None of this was on the website!!! $500 for a suitcase and it’s not what I want!! Never again!!"

Very Functional but Easily Scratched

"This is a well designed, easy to manage suitcase. I used it for a trip from San Francisco to Germany in December , and again to the Antarctic and Chile in January of '26. The expandable/compression feature came in handy for the purchases I made. I took off a star because it really scratches up badly. On its dark blue surface, all the white scrapes and scratches makes it look 10 years old. Other suitcases I saw coming off the conveyor belt didn't have anything like the scrapes on this one. Cheap coating?"
