"The suitcase I received is not what I expected. I saw the Sympatico in an airport store and immediately fell in love with it? But the price was crazy high! I decided to wait until Black Friday to order it. When we received it, my husband wrapped it up for Christmas. Then I put it away until needed. While using it on a trip, I realized that the suitcase I received was NOT the same as the one I had seen in the airport store. The one I received was last year’s model, which isn’t a big deal EXCEPT that the mechanism to extend the suitcase is very different and difficult to use. I am not happy with the way the suitcase works, or really DOESN’T work well. When I contracted the company I was told that I had order Sympatico 2. 1 rather than the 2. 2. What the heck!! None of this was on the website!!! $500 for a suitcase and it’s not what I want!! Never again!!"

Very Functional but Easily Scratched

"This is a well designed, easy to manage suitcase. I used it for a trip from San Francisco to Germany in December , and again to the Antarctic and Chile in January of '26. The expandable/compression feature came in handy for the purchases I made. I took off a star because it really scratches up badly. On its dark blue surface, all the white scrapes and scratches makes it look 10 years old. Other suitcases I saw coming off the conveyor belt didn't have anything like the scrapes on this one. Cheap coating?"

Excellent “Compact” carry-on.

"I waited a long time for this Black Friday” deal. I bought this particular version in order to meet the American Airlines carryon size restriction, but somehow it seems very small. Once I begin to pack my clothes in it hopefully this feeling will change. I also wonder whether the slightly larger version of this carry-on would pass most checkpoints in the US?."
