I'm a little disappointed by

"I'm a little disappointed by the size of the spinner. Its volume is a lot less than I was expecting, and I think the frame and construction are to blame--they take up a lot of space. I already have the carry-on shoulder bag. The layout also seems to be a little impractical. The telescoping handle also doesn't seem as sturdy as by other bags, though I haven't had any problems yet. I probably wouldn't buy this again if given the chance. I would probably opt for the international carry-on suitcase instead. Simply for the volume. Because I already have the shoulder bag."

"It's well made, durable fabric and lining, easy to pack and pockets in good places. The stackable feature is nice. The zipper is a little sticky which could be because it is new and I agree with another reviewer here that said the handle is flimsy. For this price point it should be a little more sturdy even if they will fix it. I wish it was an inch - maybe 2 - smaller all around and could fit under the plane seat."

Best purchase ever!!

"I purchased this bag because I recently traveled and had to switch terminals at the last minute , not usually a problem , however I'm a little older and recently got a pacemaker. I had a regular backpack as my carryon. I struggled to carry it and literally run to the new terminal. I have other Briggs and Riley suitcases and a baseline carryon but always have a backpack for my extras for under the seat so I have access to what I may want during my flight. After my last experience I knew I needed another Briggs! When I got home I went online and went shopping! I originally thought I wanted another backpack with wheels but found the ZDX Cabin Spinner and I fell in love !! It's everything I hoped for and so much more!! It's small yet oddly large enough that I was able to pack clothes and toiletries for 5 days!! I am SO happy with this bag I don't have enough words to explain how happy I am!! The woman sitting next to me at the gate asked me what kind of bag it was because I had to open it and get my passport and phone out. I hope I inspired her to get one! She was excited that it fit under the seat!! I absolutely love everything I purchased from Briggs and Riley!!"

I Have Buyer’s Remorse.

"I finally pulled the trigger on this piece of “premium” luggage. It is the first that I’ve ever paid this much for. My current carry-on spinners have considerable life left in them, but I’m working toward traveling with only a personal item bag, since we can now be forced to gate-check our carry-ons. I decided, this time, to spring for the best. I bought this Cabin Spinner in the Ocean color. It’s an attractive shade of blue, and the general aesthetics of the bag are pleasing. But I just returned from a 9-day trip, and there are some issues that I didn’t expect to contend with at this price point. The wheels spin decently, but honestly, they are not the smoothest that I’ve experienced, and for $519, they should be. The bag also prefers to wheel along more easily to the left than to the right. These are not Hinomoto wheels, nor do they have sealed bearings. They’re just average spinner wheels, no smoother than the wheels on my two older, much less expensive spinners. On the second day of the trip, the telescoping handle collapsed. It still works, but one side slipped down, into its own framework, and had been wonky ever since. And trust me when I tell you that I take excellent care of everything I own. I have always been very gentle with my belongings. Furthermore, the zipper keeps sticking. It’s hard to pull and zip, even when the bag is empty. No YKK zippers here. What did I pay $519 for? The Briggs & Riley name? I’ve used it, so I can’t return it. Now I’m now stuck with a very pricey, albeit attractive, bag that I’ll likely never use again. Maybe I just received a lemon, but I’m hoping that sharing my experience saves someone else the same level of regret."
